10 Storyboard Camera Shots

💵
Pan Shot
I took this at Lowdermilk Beach last weekend with my mom. I don't own a stabilizer so I couldn't get a steady pan. I tried to use the horizon as a point of reference but obviously I kept dipping or rising. I think the shot could be used as a establishing shot because there's a certain mood being extruded. There people relaxing watching the sun and some people playing ball, so I think its pretty relaxing.

💵
Follow Shot
This is from my nephew's football game on Saturday. I had to assume where he was going to run to be able to follow him. Again, I couldn't keep the camera completely still and level but I think it is not as noticeable or important with follow shots. I think that's because the follow shot can feel more real like you are there watching. While recording I was very excited, but I had to keep the shot stable. I also stalled in some spots because the radius of the camera usually kept Prince in frame, I didn't have to move to camera as much.

💵
Close Shot
This shot is of my sister Princess at my house. I told her to just stand and smile but she decided to go above and beyond. This was probably the easiest shot to take because their was no movement or hard angle. This shot is straight on and stop at her Princess's waist. Close shots make you feel like you're in front of Princess talking to her.

Cameo Shot
This shot was also easy to create. I told Princess to stand against my room door. I suppose she decided to go for a more vogue expression instead of a normal smile. I had to make sure no door frame or wall was in the picture. This type of shot brings focus to the subject alone and excludes the background.

💵
Close up
The picture is of my succulent plant. This shot had to be the easiest shot to get. This is because there is no subject to position. I just had to make sure the picture wasn't blurry. I also had to make sure I was close enough to the subject so a viewer could easily tell the shot was a close up.

💵
Full Shot
This shot was taken in Miami, two weekends ago, at the Brickell City Centre. My sister, Shanice, offered to take the picture, but instead I told her to make sure my phone didn't fall off the stand I had it on. The makeshift stand was just two shoe boxes we had just bought and my sisters purse. Other than that, the picture was easier to take because I just had to back up far enough and pose in 10 seconds. A couple times, people walked in front of the camera, so it did take a few tries.

💵
Head on / Long Shot
This shot was taken on Estero Island. It was an easy shot because I didn't have to do much work. The car was in the center, I just wish that I had gotten a video instead.

💵
Eye Level Shot
This shot is of my mom on the pier in front of the water. This wasn't difficult to get because I was close up on my mom, no one could walk in front. I just made sure I wasn't too close, or it would morph into a different kind of shot.

💵
Two-Shot
This shot was one of the harder ones because my nephews didn't want to stay still. Once I got them to be still they didn't want to just simply simple. I was able to get close up to them so that they both fit in frame.

💵
High Angle Shot
This shot is of my sister Shanice. We are about the same height so I couldn't get any higher than this. I also couldn't easily see if she was in frame properly. I got two shots and the first one wasn't in frame, but that could've been because we were both laughing. Speaking of which, us laughing made keeping the camera completely still hard.
